Wild ACEO's

This one was inspired by my pink love hearts tree I did a week back in 'Catchup '
This one is based on the urban cat. I thought I would re illustrate it again.
This piece is what I had in mind for the 'Wild' theme. The wind has been a bit crazy over the week, so the leaves are flying away.
And this last image is based on my print class. I chose to illustrate Edward Lear's book of nonsense poem.

In reference to 'Illustration Friday topic 'Wild' I could make my mind up what I wanted to create. So to get me started I decided to create some ACEO's. This is my first lot in ACEO's. It is quite different to what I normally do! But it kept me busy!

My idea of the theme 'Wild' was to show either the wild flowers, or the wild wind we have had for over a week. When will we ever get spring?

Catch Up & Urban Cat

It feels as though I havent posted for a while, but I only posted the other day. Anywho bit of a catchup, as I keep saying I think we are in spring and especially wedding seasons, I decided to make a whimsical 'Love Tree'  The saying goes - true love never gets old. So no matter how old you get, love will always grow!

There is another saying which sometimes I dont understand - Patience is a virtue. And I think I waited and it paid off. I received my third sale yesterday, so it was a nice surprise to wake up to this morning! I am just going to keep working hard bit by bit to build my shop up!

And lastly, in response to the Illustration Friday topic 'Urban' I decided to bring back the kitty. I wonder where this kitty is off to? Is he looking for that Urban city, or is he that urban cat I was telling you about?

I have yet to finish off the first image.

However, I submitted the second image as the final one for time being!

Easter Eggs

Referring to Illustration Friday topic 'Egg'

My first post for April - Spring Season.
What have we come across here? These delicious Easter Eggs. Yum Yum!

The weather has been gorgeous over the Easter weekend, despite being at work. I think we are eventually over the bad weather! :) Let the flowers blossom!

Love you yesterday

"I love you more today then yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow"

This image was done as a custom order on Etsy, and guess what. It was my first order. I am quite happy how it has turned out.

Winters Day

Recovering from being ill over the couple days, I have finally done it! And since I havent submitted anything to Illustration Friday for a couple of weeks, I combined the topics 'Wool', and "Talent" together.

I have had this idea for a while, where the bird is pulling the cat along on a winters day.

Even though we are in spring now, it still feels like winter. And that means we have to wrap up warm still.

Connecting with this weeks topic 'Talent'. I think the bird has a lot of talent pulling the cat along. :)

Work in Progress

A sneek preview of what I am illustrating. As I have missed Illustration Friday's topic, am combing two topics together.

I know we have just begun the spring season, but I have had this idea for a while. Hopefully I will complete the full image in no time.

Love Storm

I decided I would continue the Bird and Cat story.

I couldnt decide which idea I wanted to put forward, what with the weather we have had in the past weeks. We have had so much snow, and I am glad that the rain is finally here to wash it all away.

The idea was to combine Valentines day with storm, so the bird is shielding the cat from the rain, by showing its love.

Follow your dreams

Referring to Illustration Friday topic 'Wheel'.
I decided I would follow up the cat and bird images, and see what happens.

I used 'Dreamcatcher' to represent Wheel.

I wanted the bird to be part of the dreamcatcher, whilst holding a heart from its mouth.

The cat is trying to catch its dream (love with the bird).

Whereas the bird is trying to catch its dream (the crown).

Finding love

For a while, I had a little sketch with a cat sitting on a bird, and I decided I would turn it into an illustration.
This is the second part to it, can it be a start of a friendship between a cat and a bird.

Cat sitting on bird

For a while, I had a little sketch with a cat sitting on a bird, and I decided I would turn it into an illustration.
You will never see this happen, but today I have made that happen with a 'myth'.

Little Red Cap

My personal project is to illustrate little red cap taken from Grimm's fairy tale.
This is just an idea I had, and a starting point for me to work from.

Illustration Friday - Ocean

Another response to Illustration Friday topic 'Ocean'.
I decided I wanted to do a self portrait of myself and use the hair as the sea.

This image is in response to Illustration Friday topic 'Ocean'.
When I thought about 'Ocean', I had an idea of an elephant next to water.
